Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The scientific-publicistic journal “Azerbaijan Carpets”, was published co-founded by Center for Carpet Weaving “Azer-Ilme” and the Presidium of ANAS.

The new issue of the journal, which is included in the list of scientific publications of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the field of art and history, covers historical and ethnographic essays in Azerbaijani, English and Russian, scientific articles, a diary of the Open Joint Stock Company Azerkhalcha.

In the new issue of the journal, articles - “The Strength of Nasimi's Creativity” by academician Isa Habibbayli, “Jimi and Jimians” by Doctor of Historical Sciences Professor Vidadi Muradov (Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS), "Elements of fire worship on the banners of the Khan period" by PhD in History Parvin Gezalov, “Carpet elements and their semantics in national clothes and accessories” by PhD, Assoc. Prof. Gulzada Abdullayeva (Museum of the Azerbaijan National History of ANAS), “Comparative analysis of proverbs in Azerbaijani and Uzbek folklore” by Chinara Rzayeva (Institute of Art, Linguistics and Literature of the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS), “Medieval weapons of Azerbaijan in museums in Poland” by PhD, Assoc. Prof. Sabuhi Ahmadov (Azerbaijan National Museum of History of ANAS), “Military structure of the state of Atabey-Eldenizler” by PhD in Politology Azer Jalilov and Eldar Mehdiyev, have been posted.

Editor-in-chief of the journal, head of the Carpet Studies sector of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS, Honored Artist, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Vidadi Muradov.
