Presentation of the book "Adventure of Secrets"

On January 28, Central Scientific Library of ANAS held a presentation of the book “Adventure of Secrets” by the rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages, People’s Writer Academician Kamal Abdullayev.

During the event, organized by the Institute of Folklore, hairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of this institution, Ph.D. in Philology Nail Gurbanov noted that the writer’s fourth novel describes the literary and artistic reflection of parallel time and space, phenomenon of memory, real and surreal events. The protagonist of the work, teacher Hasan, witnesses the adventures of secrets. The work also contains a narrative about the heroes of other works of the writer.

Speaking further, academician Kamal Abdullayev thanked the organizers of the event. He noted that the hero of the work decides to record the secrets of his neighbor. But he forgets that, creating a work, he reveals the secrets of people. The academician expressed confidence that the work "Adventure of Secrets" will arouse the interest of readers.

Scientific secretary of the Institute of Manuscripts named after M.Fuzuli Ph.D. in Philology Azizagha Najafzadeh, head Department of the Institute of Literature named after N. Ganjavi, Professor Tahira Mammad, and the Institute’s researcher Ph.D. in Philology Maral Yagubova, who emphasized that presenting the novel in an anachronistic sequence of events related to complex storylines and chapters characteristic of modern prose techniques makes the work readable.

At the presentation, the actors of the Azerbaijan State Theater "South" - People's Artist Mammad Safa and Honored Artist Yagut Pashazadeh performed excerpts from the work "Adventures of Secrets".

Finally, author responded questions related to the work.
