Advisor of the Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Igor Yeronin and press secretary Alina Zolotareva visited the Central Scientific Library (CSL) of ANAS.
Representatives of the embassy, who were closely acquainted with the 160th anniversary exhibition of the famous Russian writer A.P. Chekhov, were informed about the books published here. It was noted that the exhibition features more than 400 works written by his authorship and written about writer as well as works translated into Azerbaijani. The most ancient of these works is "Chekhov's Letters", published in 1912.
Later, the guests visited the Diplomatic Fund of the CSL's Academic Hall, including Russian Literature, Newspaper and Rare Book Funds and reading rooms, and reviewed the documents stored in the library.
Finally, Igor Yeronin presented the first issue of “Russia” journal, published by the Embassy, to the Diplomatic Foundation.
