Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

"Feature and Animated Film Scenarios” competition was organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The main purpose of the competition, which was implemented by President Ilham Aliyev's decree "On Some Measures on the Development of Azerbaijani Cinema" dated March 1, 2019, is to produce film based on state order, underpin national filmmakers, boost their creativity and involve new creative forces in the field of filmmaking.

The winners of the competition for the animation category of the same scenario, prepared by Vugar Hagverdiyev, Deputy Head of the Main Office of Science and Education of the Presidium of ANAS, a member of the Writers' Union of Azerbaijan, based on the fairy tale. Scenario is going to be animated on state order.

Note that V. Hagverdiyev has repeatedly been a winner of competitions of fairy tales, as well as analytical writings.
