Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

On February 4, Baku Book Center hosted for an event "Creative Youth and Volunteers" organized by the Institute of Philosophy of ANAS.

The event was held in accordance with the relevant decree of the President of the country "Announcing the Year of Volunteers" in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2020.

Professor Ilham Mammadzadeh, director of the Institute of Philosophy, spoke first and noted that, young people are the driving force of the society, directing the future and development of each state. Youth policy plays an important role in the formation of the Azerbaijani youth as a modern, advanced, highly intelligent leading force. The founder of this policy is Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of our people. The state youth policy under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev is developing at a new stage, underlined scientist.

The director of the institute added that a special place in the state policy of Azerbaijan is to increase the interest of young people in science and their involvement in scientific research.

Emphasizing that the announcement of 2020 as the Year of Volunteers in our country is a manifestation of the President's attention to the youth of Azerbaijan, I.Mammadzadeh expressed confidence that further increase of the volunteer movement in our country will contribute to the development of young people.

Then the event was moderated by Sanan Hasanov, chairman of the first party organization of the NAP of the Institute of Philosophy, Ph.D. in Political Science, and Tunzale Musayeva, chairman of the Institute's Young Scientists and Specialists Council.

Later, Aynur Veysalova-Abbasova, Deputy Head of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, chief department of the Institute of Philosophy, Ph.D. Fuzuli Gurbanov and others shared their opinions on the topic at the event.
