Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The event “Call us Khojaly! Both the young and old” dedicated to the 28th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide was held at the National Museum of Azerbaijan History of ANAS.

The event was attended by employees of the Republican Children's and Youth Center of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Shusha State Music and Drama Theater of the Ministry of Culture, the World School of the Khazar University, teachers and students of the Republican Gymnasium of Humanities named after S. Pishavari.

Speaking at the ceremony, the head Department of Popular Science Work and Education, Farida Shamsi and the employee of the department Ganira Gafarli, noted that the main purpose of the event was to convey to the young generation the truth about the Khojaly tragedy and instill a sense of patriotism in them.

Then, the students made reports on the Khojaly genocide.

Finally, the artists of the Shusha State Music and Drama Theater presented the literary and artistic composition “Khojaly is Calling Us.”
