Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

According to the relevant decree of the President of ANAS academician Ramiz Mehdiyev, a competition was held at the Institute of Petrochemical Processes named after academician Yusif Mammadaliyev aimed at determining extra charges from extrabudgetary funds for the salaries of scientists and researchers under the age of 35 years.

82 employees took part in the competition. Each of the participants made a 5-minute speech. The competition was held by secret ballot in the Academic Council. Performances were rated on a 10-point scale.

12 of the participants have scored 9-9.8 points, 25 - 8-8.8 points, 45 - 5-7.9 points.

By the decision of the Academic Council, the participants who scored 9-9.8 points will receive monthly bonus payments in the amount of 100 manat, scored 8-8.8 points - 50 manat, and scored 5-7.9 points - 30 manat. According to the decision, the salary bonus will be calculated from March 1.

Note that the corresponding order is aimed at increasing the interest of talented young scientists at the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences to conduct more in-depth research and further stimulate their scientific activities.
