Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory of ANAS has been disinfected by the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Shamakhi Region against pandemic coronavirus (COVID-19).

In order to ensure the implementation of the “Action Plan to Cross the Spread of the New Coronavirus in Azerbaijan” of the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as the order of the President of ANAS, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev on preventive measures in connection with the coronavirus, the observatory was disinfected.

Note that SAO employees were provided with information on the consequences of coronavirus and methods of protection against the virus.
