Leading researcher of the New and Recent History Department of the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archeology of the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS, PhD in History, Associate Professor Musa Guliyev HAS involved a large number of archival documents in research.

Among the documents are the battles of Kalbali khan Nakhchivanski-Kangarli III in 1918-20, as well as Heydar agha Shahtakhtinski, who worked in the Central Executive Committee of the Caucasus and was one of the victims of repression in 1937, General Ismail khan, famous soldier Novruz agha, and others.

Note that the documents and photos involved in scientific research were obtained from the State Historical Archive of the Republic of Azerbaijan, State Archive of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, National Archive of Georgia, National Central Library of Georgia, Russian State Military-Historical Archive.
