The presidium of ANAS made a singular solution for the purpose of increase of intensity of management and reforms, consideration of the questions actual for scientific institutions, carrying out an exchange by experience, development of new mechanisms for adaptation of research works to modern requirements and the joint solution of other questions.On the basis of the decision of Presidium of ANAS the Board of directors the scientific institutions of the ANAS was founded.On November 12, 2013 in the main building of ANAS the first meeting of Board of directors took place. Action was opened by the president of ANAS,academician Akif Alizade and gave the information on agenda questions.Having told about modification of a format of the annual report of institutes and the organizations of ANAS, the academician noted importance of even more effective and purposeful organization of activity of Academy. The scientist noted that for strengthening of activity of divisions general meetings with the assistance of specialists of the relevant public institutions have to be organized regularly.A.Alizada told that one of main objectives is recognition of the research works reached innovative results by scientific community of the country, and also the whole world. The academician noted that founded for youth support by the President of the country Ilham Aliyev “A presidential award for youth” is an indicator of the attention paid by the state on development of science in the country.Vice President - control. ANAS affairs Fatali Abdullaev told about undertaken measures for the solution of social problems of scientists. It was noted that along with the solution of housing problems of scientists and experts of ANAS, establishment of the medical, trade centers and the rest center at Academy in the near future is provided.The speakers at the meeting of the Academician-Secretary of the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences, academician Ahliman Amiraslanov, director of the Institute of Cybernetics Telman Aliyev, director of the Institute of Radiation Problems, Professor Adil Garibov and others stressed the importance of the meeting, and noted that the establishment of the Board of Directors will play a big role in a more efficient organization of future activities of the scientific institution.Within meeting the following questions were also discussed: preparation for Congress of scientists of Azerbaijan, involvement of young scientists in ANAS and their sending to the European countries for training in doctoral studies, strengthening of a control system of institutes and the organizations, definition of date of reception in doctoral studies, etc.
