An article by Suleyman Allahverdiyev, Doctor of Biological Sciences, head of the International Laboratory for Bionanotechnology, Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology of ANAS, was published in the journal Coordination Chemistry Reviews, the impact factor of which is 13.476.

The article “Complex oxidizing water in photosystem II: its structure and relationship with manganese oxide catalysts” analyzes the studies that have been conducted in recent years. In addition, the structure and function of the biologically active site were considered, its important role in the development of inorganic catalysts for the production of solar fuel was indicated.
