Third Volume of Faiq Alakbarli’s Multi-Volume Work on National Ideology Published

The third volume of the multi-volume work titled “A Historical-Philosophical View on the Problem of National Ideology” by Faiq Alakbarli (Gazanfaroğlu), Associate Professor, PhD in Philosophy and Head of the Department of the History of Philosophical Thought of Turkic Peoples and Modern Philosophy at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), has been published by the Elm ve Tehsil publishing house.

The scientific editors of the book are Professor Ali Abbasov, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, and Doctor of Historical Sciences Eynulla Madatli. The reviewers are Professor Rafail Ahmadli, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences; Fuzuli Gurbanov, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences; and Sanan Hasanov, Associate Professor and PhD in Political Science.

In the third volume of the multi-volume work, Faiq Alakbarli examines philosophical and political-ideological processes that took place in Azerbaijan and across the Turkic world in the late 20th century and the first quarter of the 21st century. In particular, the study analyzes the relevance of national ideas and ideologies in contemporary Azerbaijan and the Turkic world, proposing new concepts such as classical Azerbaijanism, post-classical Azerbaijanism and the doctrine of Turkism.

At the same time, the third volume of the monograph systematically examines for the first time the ideas of Azerbaijanism, Integral Azerbaijanism and Turkism.

The monograph is intended for specialists of various levels working in the fields of philosophy, history, political science, literature, linguistics, ethnography, cultural studies and other academic disciplines, including bachelor’s and master’s students, doctoral candidates, researchers and teachers, as well as for a wider readership.
