An online master class on "Theater as a contemporary of man: from ancient times up today” was organized for students of Nakhchivan State University (NSU) on the "Zoom" platform. The master class organized by the Faculty of Arts of the University was conducted by the head of the Department of Theater, Cinema and Television of the Institute of Architecture and Art of ANAS, PhD in Study of Art, Associate Professor Vidadi Gafarov.

First, the dean of the Faculty of Arts of NSU, Honored Artist of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Javid Ismayilov said that such events have become a tradition at the faculty and are especially relevant during the pandemic.

Then V.Gafarov spoke about the path of the theater from ancient times to the present day, spoke about the stages of development of the history of world theater, the reasons for the establishment of the theater in the structure of slavery.
