The monograph "Sources of enrichment and development of the Azerbaijani literary language" co-authored by the director of the Institute of Linguistics named after Nasimi of ANAS, academician Mohsun Naghisoylu and professor Sayali Sadigova, has been published.

The monograph examines in detail the sources of enrichment of the vocabulary of the Azerbaijani literary language, the directions of its development with facts. The research work analyzes the role of ancient monuments, medieval translations, dictionaries, word creation and development trends in the enrichment of the literary language.

The publication identifies a number of corrections and translations of complex words used in Persian texts of translated works reflected in the publication, ancient words of Turkic origin used in medieval Azerbaijani translations are analyzed in detail in the monograph. In particular, the historical ways of development, methods of creation and sources of the vocabulary of the language have been studied.

In addition, research was conducted on the terminological system of the language, its main features and specific features.

In the monograph, the sources of enrichment of the vocabulary of the language, the process of word formation in the language are studied in detail for the first time.

The scientific editor of the work is professor Buludkhan Khalilov, the reviewers are professors Ismayil Mammadli and Ikram Gasimov.
