An online presentation of the monograph by the head Department of the Archaeological Service of the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archeology of the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS PhD in Philology Zeynab Guliyeva titled as “Chalcolitic Monuments of Nakhchivan” took place.

Opening the event, the chairman of the division, academician Ismail Hajiyev emphasized the importance of a new publication prepared on the basis of archaeological materials from more than 20 Eneolithic monuments recorded in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in 2010-2019. He noted that in this monograph, along with new monuments located in the Nakhchivanchay Valley, the author also brought to the study the materials of 5 monuments already known in the Arpachay Valley.

Then a lecture was delivered by the head department of the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archeology, corresponding member of ANAS Vali Bakhshaliyev "A few words about the monograph of Chalcolitic Monuments of Nakhchivan."

Speaking at the presentation, head Department of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS Bahlul Ibrahimli, PhD in History, director of the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archeology of the Nakhchivan Division, ANAS corresponding member Fakhraddin Safarli highly appreciated the monograph as a valuable source for Azerbaijani historiography.

In conclusion, the author of the monograph, Zeynab Guliyeva, spoke about the results of excavations carried out in 2013 with the support of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic by an archaeological expedition created in the Nakhchivan Division and headed by corresponding member of ANAS Vali Bakhshaliyev.
