Institute of Oil and Gas of ANAS carried out the dissertation defence of two master’s graduates majoring in "Geophysical Engineering".

Javahir Rajabli, majoring in “Exploration of Oil and Gas Fields and Geophysical Methods of Exploration” has submitted her master’s dissertation on topic “Geological Section Forecasting Relied on Seismic Wave Attribution Interpretation” and Gulnara Alizadeh, majoring in “Marine Oil-Gas Geophics”, has submitted her master’s dissertation on topic “The Role of Mudvolcanoes in Emerging of Oil and Gas Deposits”.

The master’s graduates provided detailed information about their research and responded the questions of the council members.

Then an open voting was held, and according to the established criteria, Javahir Rajabli's dissertation was evaluated with 94 points, and Gulnara Alizade's dissertation with 92 points.

It was decided to award a master's degree to each of the master’s graduates.
