Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

An online meeting of the Specialized Scientific Council for the Protection of Master's theses of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS was held.

At the meeting, second-year master’s graduates majoring in “Archeology and Ethnography” - Narmin Mammadli’s thesis on topic “The Art of Metal Art in the Shirvan Region of the Ancient Period (based on the materials of the

National Museum of the Azerbaijan History)” and Gunay Bayramova on topic “Semantics of Patterns on Ceramics and Carpets” were presented.

Graduate students spoke in detail about the relevance of the topic of their research, scientific novelty, sources used, the structure of dissertations, the results obtained, answered questions from members of the Specialized Scientific Council on this topic. The submitted research papers were highly appreciated.
