The World Health Organization (WHO) has repeatedly stated that the use of over-the-counter antibiotics by some people at the first sign of a cold can lead to antibiotic resistance. In other words, certain types of microbes are always accustomed to the drugs they use, mutate, and no longer accept them. Many plants with antibiotic properties are used in this case. These herbs have no side effects and are cheaper than medicines.

This opinion was stated by the director of the Institute of Dendrology of ANAS corresponding member of the academy Tofig Mammadov. The scientist informed about medicinal plants containing natural antibiotics and their medicinal properties.
