Science Development Fund under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan has announced “Industrial grant” to fund research projects through grants to support researches in the field of industrial development in the country.

The new grant is declared in accordance with the Decree of the President Ilham Aliyev “On Declaring 2014 in the Republic of Azerbaijan” as the “Year of the industry " in order to modernize the country's industry, to develop non-oil industries, to accelerate the process of industrialization of the economy, to fund through grants important research projects aimed at more efficient use of the existing potential for further industrial development.

Total funding in the competition by the Science Foundation is 500 thousand AzN.

The competition will involve fundamental research, search and innovation projects. Examination will be implemented by the Ministry of Economy and Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The competition is open to representatives of ANAS, higher educational establishments, research institutions under the ministries of the Republic, NGOs and others. Project managers involved in projects of Science Development Fund, cannot participate in the contest “Industrial grant.”

Application acceptance: from October 28 to November 28, 2014, 17:00 pm. Results will be announced in December.
