The joint research of Azerbaijani scientists was presented at an online international conference

The 7th International Conference on Industrial Applied Management and Optimization (COIA-2020) was held online in Baku with the support of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, organized by the Applied Mathematics Research Institute of Baku State University.

The main purpose of the virtual conference was to create a single platform for a joint exchange of views with scientists and researchers, as well as students, a meeting with industry experts to discuss the results.

The lecture on topic "Conceptual issues of construction of oil and gas complex on the basis of Industrial 4.0 solutions" co-authored by the head of the department of the Institute of Information Technology, corresponding member of ANAS Ramiz Aliguliyev, heads of departments - Shakir Mehdiyev and Tahmasib Fataliyev was presented at the conference.

In addition, "Conceptual approach to personnel health management in the offshore oil and gas industry based on IoT technologies" co-authored by the head of the department of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS Masuma Mammadova and senior researcher, Ph.D. in Engineering, Associate Professor Zarifa Jabrailova as well as a lecture on "Security issues of Scada systems in cloud computing environment” co-authored by deputy director of the institute Ph.D. in Engineering, Associate Professor Rashid Alakbarov, and a senior researcher, Ph.D. in Engineering Mammad Hashimov.

It should be noted that 476 scientists and researchers from around the world are registered on the conference website. The editorial office received about 300 articles, and after the review process, 256 articles were published in the conference proceedings. Participants represented Azerbaijan, Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, Iran, India, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Mexico, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Germany, Uzbekistan, Italy and Kuwait.
