Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

National Museum of Azerbaijan History of ANAS hosted an online event dedicated to September 15 - Knowledge Day.

The meeting was attended by employees of the museum, representatives of the Republican Center for Child and Youth Development of the Ministry of Education, teachers and students of secondary schools, gymnasiums and lyceums.

The event was opened by Farida Shamsi, head of the museum's Department of Scientific-Mass Work and Education, who said that September 15 was declared Knowledge Day in Azerbaijan by the presidential decree dated August 21, 2004.

Then, employees of the Department of Scientific Awareness and Excursions - Khadija Huseynova presented a virtual tour dubbed "Memorial Museum of Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev" and Sara Ahmadova "Azerbaijan in the years of World War II" dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the victory over fascism.

The virtual excursions were met with interest by students and teachers.
