Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Associate Professor Maharram Hasanov, Deputy Director for Science of the Institute of Geography named after acad. H.A. Aliyev of ANAS, took part in a virtual meeting held within the framework of the project "Expansion of early warning services about hazardous hydrometeorological processes in Azerbaijan as a result of climate change."

The event was attended by representatives of relevant government agencies, ministries and organizations. The meeting discussed issues of coordination of activities that should be reflected in the project, the possibility of cooperation with the relevant government agencies and other interested parties.

The project will be developed by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and submitted to the Green Climate Fund (GCF).
