Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

A general meeting of the Presidium of the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS was held.

During the meeting, the chairman of the division, academician Ismail Hajiyev announced a competition for the positions of leading and senior researchers of departments and laboratories of the Institute of History, Ethnography, Archeology, Institute of Art, Language and Literature, Institute of Bioresources and Institute of Natural Resources. According to him, a doctor of science and 12 doctors of philosophy applied for the competition.

Then a counting commission was created to conduct elections. Director of the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archeology, corresponding member of ANAS Fakhraddin Safarli was elected chairman of the commission.

Then the employees, elected by secret ballot, were approved by the decision of the Presidium.
