ANAS Centre for Scientific Innovations held event dedicated to Heydar Aliyev’s commemoration.

In advance, attendees commemorated national leader’s memory with a minute of silence.

Opening the event PhD in law Azer Namazov spoke about national leader Heydar Aliyev’s exceptional merits in rapid development of the economy of Azerbaijan, reconstruction works in the country as well as his care to science and culture. After his resigning at the highest posts of USSR, our nasty neighbors began to territorial claims. Struggles for power, tyranny led to paralysis of the country's economy and industry. Heydar Aliyev's return to power in 1993, rescued Azerbaijan from hazards and splits, he noted.
