Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

President of ANAS academician Akif Alizadeh met with the CEO of Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) Shenol Goka, head of the Baku office of TRT Yildirim Arslan and coordinating director for the TV channel “TRT Avaz” Murat Akkoch.

Greeting the guests, academician Akif Alizadeh told them about the history of the academy, as well as the various studies that are conducted in scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS. Speaking about the importance of historical scientific and cultural ties between Azerbaijan and Turkey, the head of ANAS praised the cooperation between scientists of both countries, shared his thoughts on new opportunities. Academician highlighted the advisability of implementing joint projects with TRT in order to promote science and the dissemination of information on the scientific achievements of Azerbaijan in the Turkic world, as well as Europe, Middle and Far East.

In turn, the CEO of TRT Shenol Goka thanked the managment of ANAS for the warm welcome and merits in the development of bilateral ties. Sh.Goka noted that having rich experience, TRT broadcasting company is ready to cooperate with the aim of promoting scientific heritage of Azerbaijan.

In conclusion, there was an exchange of views in the establishment of further links between ANAS and TRT.
