One of the issues discussed at the next online meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS was the preparation for the international conference "Problems of Cybersecurity of Industrial Control Systems" in October-November 2021 with the support of NATO.

The head of the department of the institute, Ph.D. in Engineering, Associate Professor Yadigar Imamverdiyev said that it is planned to organize an "Advanced Research Workshop" within the framework of the NATO Science Program for Peace and Security. The Republic of Azerbaijan, as a NATO partner country, is actively involved in a number of projects. The cybersecurity conference, jointly organized by Azerbaijan and Poland, is also an important part of NATO's strategic concept.

The scientist noted that at the three-day international conference, our country will be represented by a number of structures, such as the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS. He noted that leading scientists and specialists from the USA, Germany, Poland, Austria, Sweden, Turkey, Hungary, Estonia and Georgia will be invited to the event.
