At Nakhchivan Nakhchivan Branch of ANAS the meeting with the authors of Volume II of the book " History of Nakhchivan”. At Nakhchivan Branch of ANAS held the meeting with authors of the II volume of the book “History of Nakhchivan”.

The chairman of Branch, academician Ismail Hadjiev reported that on the basis of the Order of the chairman of Order of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov aboutpreparation of “Multi-volume set of “History of Nakhchivan” " from August 6, 2012, to the preparation of a multi-volume were attracted historians and Nakhchivan Department of ANAS Nakhchivan State University .

Let's note that in the “History of Nakhchivan” edition in a chronological order all stages of history of Nakhchivan, since the most ancient times will be given up to now. The I volume of the multi-volume set which consists of the introduction, 17 heads and the list of references, covers the period, since ancient times to the middle of the XVIII century, the II volume – from the middle of the XVIII century until the end of the 30th years of the XX century, the III volume – since World War II and to this day.

In the first volume of the book in heads - “Nakhchivan in ancient times”, “Nakhchivan in IX BC – II AD”, “Nakhchyvan in the period of the early Middle Ages”, “Nakhchyvan in the first quarter of the X-XIII centuries”, “In the XIII-XV centuries” and “Nakhchivan in the Safavid era” will be given detailed information on the period, since ancient times to the middle of the XVIII century.

In II and the III volumes for wide reader's audience are presented the chapters -"Nakhchivan during an era of khanates”, “Occupation of Nakhchivan by Russian”, “In the XIX century”, “Nakhchyvan at the beginning of the XX century”, “Nakhchyvan in 20-30 years of the XX century”, “Nakhchyvan during World War II”, etc. where the chronological order of events is observed.
