An online meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics of ANAS was held.

Director of the enterprise, Dr. Economy Professor Nazim Imanov gave detailed information about the “The Rule of implementation of a pilot project on 2021-2024 at the Institute of Economics of ANAS” based of the proposal of ANAS approved by the Decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan. It was noted that if the pilot project proves successful, it will be implemented in other institutes of the academy, and in this regard, the staff of the Institute of Economics has a great responsibility. Corresponding member of ANAS Akif Musayev, Professor Mushfig Atakishiyev and associate professor Allahyar Muradov praised the draft decision agreed with the relevant government agencies and voiced their proposals on the work to be done.

Then, at the suggestion of N. Imanov, a decision was made to establish a Scientific Center for Post-Conflict Rehabilitation at the Institute of Economics of ANAS. The center will develop sectoral and comprehensive programs to restore the liberated territories in cooperation with government agencies.

Following the discussions, it was decided to establish a Department of Business Environment and Innovation Entrepreneurship on the basis of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Monopoly Regulation and the Department of Innovation Management and Science Development.

In addition, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of academician Ziyad Samadzadeh and corresponding member of ANAS Shahbaz Muradov, it was decided to hold international scientific conferences and establish a relevant organizing committee on the basis of the decision of the Presidium of the academy.

The meeting also approved the individual work plans of doctoral students and dissertators for the preparation of doctorates in philosophy and sciences.
