Published the third volume of the collection "CMDLTC: materials of Azerbaijani folklore"

Institute of Folklore of ANAS has released another book from the series "Main publications of Azerbaijani folklore" - the third volume of the collection "CMDLTC: materials of Azerbaijani folklore".

The texts collected in the book have been translated into our language from the journal "Collection of Materials for the Description of Localities and Tribes of the Caucasus" (CMDLTC), published in 1881-1929 by the head of the Department of Classical Folklore of the institute, Ph.D. in Philology Rza Khalilov. The compilers of the book are Rza Khalilov, Afag Khurramgizi, and AYnur Huseynova, Ph.D. in Philology.

Note that the first and second volumes of the collection "CMDLTC: Materials of Azerbaijani Folklore" were published in 2018. The volumes are arranged chronologically.

One of the main and most important points in the CMDLTC collection is the abundance of materials from Azerbaijani oral folk literature (some of which are even in Azerbaijani), presented as "Armenian folklore". The discovery of such facts convincingly proves that the Armenian plagiarism has a long history.
