The brilliant military-political victories achieved under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev in the liberation of our occupied territories were greeted by all citizens of the country with great joy and festive mood. The Azerbaijani army destroyed the fortifications built by the enemy for 30 years as part of military operations to prevent successive provocations by Armenia and new occupation plans. Jabrayil, Fuzuli, Zangilan, Gubadli districts, most of Khojavend district, a number of villages of Lachin district and numerous strategic heights were liberated. The liberation of Shusha, the pearl of Azerbaijan and the cradle of culture, from occupation on November 8 was engraved in the memory as the most glorious page of our military history.

Director of the Shamakhi Astrophysics Observatory named after N.Tusi, corresponding member of ANAS Namig Jalilov voiced these words at the online meeting dedicated to the great victory of our country in the Second Karabakh War.
