The origin and division of the seasons is an astronomical phenomenon. The process takes place when the Sun illuminates different parts of the planet - the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. When the Earth is in the Northern Hemisphere of the Sun, it receives more light and heat, so it is summer in the North and winter in the Southern Hemisphere. Because both hemispheres are equally illuminated, there is a transition to autumn or spring on our planet.

The Shamakhi Astrophysics Observatory named after Nasreddin Tusi of ANAS has announced the time of arrival of winter in our country in 2020 and the time of registration of seasons next year. According to the observatory's employee Amina Humbatova, next year the spring season will start on March 20, the summer season on June 21, the autumn season on September 22, and the winter season on December 21.
