Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Azerbaijani researcher Aysel Ahadova, who conducts research at the Department of Applied Biology at the University Hospital of Heidelberg, Germany, has been awarded the Anita and Friedrich Reitner Prize for 2020 for her successful results in the field of cancer research.

The 10,000-euro award was established by Honorary Senator of the University of Heidelberg, Germany, Professor Friedrich Reitner and his wife Anita Reitner. The award is presented to young scientists of the Medical Faculty of the University for clinically significant research projects.
