Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The first meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS was held this year.

Director of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS Oktay Gasimov opened the meeting organized in accordance with the conditions of the pandemic with the online participation of other members of the Scientific Council and informed about the current issues.

Then, discussions were held on a comprehensive plan of scientific research to be conducted at the enterprise this year. During the discussions, the heads of laboratories of the enterprise, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Tokay Huseynov, Doctor of Biological Sciences Karim Gasimov, Doctor of Biological Sciences Ilham Shahmuradov made speeches and expressed their proposals. As a result of the discussions, the research plan of the Institute of Biophysics for 2021 was approved by the decision of the Scientific Council.
