Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The Central Scientific Library of ANAS has prepared a two-part video slide titled “Nizami Ganjavi-880” consisting of publications reflecting the bright heritage of the powerful master of words and ideas, genius poet Nizami Ganjavi. The video includes selections from about a hundred publications in Azerbaijani and foreign languages, which are preserved in the rich funds of the CSL.

Information about Nizami Ganjavi's "Khamsa", "Treasure of Secrets", "Khosrov and Shirin", "Leyli and Majnun", "Seven Beauties", "Alexander's Letter", valuable researches and translations of prominent orientalists and scholars has been posted.

It should be noted that this year marks the 880th anniversary of the great poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi. In this regard, President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on January 5 declaring 2021 the "Year of Nizami Ganjavi" in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
