A scientific seminar on "Innovations in the application of drug therapy in the treatment of malignant tumors" was held at the Institute of Chemistry of Additives of ANAS.

The event was opened by the Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the Institute, Doctor of Science in Chemistry, Associate Professor Afsun Sujayev, who informed the participants about the agenda of the seminar.

Then the report of the researcher of the institute Ulduz Jafarova was heard. He noted that the serious problem of oncological diseases in the world health is due to the increase in deaths in its widespread dynamics from year to year.

The speaker explained with concrete facts what is currently preferred in the treatment of malignant tumors, what treatment methods are recommended as standard and, most importantly, the choice of treatment varies depending on the organ, stage, spread and general condition of the patient.

Then questions were answered and extensive discussions were held around the report.
