The Institute of Geology and Geophysics of ANAS has started to prepare publications on the "Theoretical and Applied Geology Course" that meet modern requirements in order to increase the effectiveness of the acquisition and acquisition of theoretical and applied knowledge by the younger generation, training of young scientists.

Realized by the idea and leadership of the institute's management, these books are planned to cover 11 areas of geology. Two publications have already been published - "Hydrocarbon systems" and "Direct geophysical and geochemical methods of oil and gas exploration."

The author of the publication "Hydrocarbon Systems" is academician Akper Feyzullayev. The textbook briefly reviews all the geological elements and processes necessary for the formation and maintenance of oil and gas fields, which are part of hydrocarbon systems.

The author of the textbook "Direct geophysical and geochemical methods of oil and gas exploration" is academician Akper Feyzullayev, doctor of geological-mineralogical sciences Tofig Ahmadov and doctor of earth sciences Sabina Abbasova.
