"Dede Gorgud" journal, a collection of scientific articles of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, is included in the “Index Copernicus” international scientific database.

"Dede Gorgud" journal publishes original articles in Azerbaijani, Russian, English and Turkish languages, which are researched at the academic level and positively evaluated by the scientific staff. The journal covers the theory of folklore, genre system and poetics of folklore, folklore and written literature, folklore of the peoples of the world, collection, publication and research of Azerbaijani folklore.

In recent years, the journal has aroused great interest in Europe and Central Asia outside our country. Thus, the journal "Dede Gorgud" includes articles from the Central Asian republics, as well as Iran, Russia, Turkey and Estonia and others. The journal is among the scientific publications recommended by the Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that the editor-in-chief of "Dede Gorgud" journal is Doctor of Philology, Professor Ramazan Gafarli.
