Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Chairman of the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Purmarjan met with the director of the Institute of Oriental Studies of ANAS named after academician Z.M.Bunyadov, academician Govhar Bakhshaliyeva.

G.Bakhshaliyeva told the guest about the victory of the Victorious Azerbaijani Army under the leadership of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev in the autumn of last year and spoke about the work done to restore Karabakh. The head of the institute noted the great role of great leader Heydar Aliyev and President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in the establishment and development of relations between Azerbaijan and Iran.

Expressing satisfaction with the work done at the institute in the field of Iranian studies, Purmarjan noted the importance of cooperation between scientists of the two countries.
