By the initiative of the Department of Innovation Presidium of ANAS held seminar on March 17.

During the two-day seminar was held a meeting with the head of the Innovation Administrative Department, PhD in Politics Fatali Abdullayev.

Head of the Innovation department, Presidium of ANAS, PhD in Agricultural Sciences Vugar Babayev informed about the development strategies of ANAS, the proposed Foundation for Innovation, the establishment of business Incubator and Technology Park and told about the work conducted by the Academy in this area.

Then Turkish professor, director of Erjiyes Technopark Bilgin Yazlik made a presentation on the practice of Turkey in this area, and talked about the allocation of funds academic projects TÜBİTAK, state attention to this area, the development of cooperation in accordance with the interests of both parties and the protection of copyright in the joint projects by scientists with various institutions, as well as the possibility of obtaining more patents in this area by using the right strategy. Professor proposed the creation of new models of industrial parks in Azerbaijan headed by him on the basis of the technology park.

Director of the Center for Scientific Innovations, PhD in Law Azer Namazov, the persons responsible for innovation in scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS, as well as Deputy Director of Technopark Erjiyes Salahaddin Gonulatesh exchanged views and noted that being innovative production complex these technology parks are important in terms of demonstrating the scientific achievements. He also highlighted the need to prepare appropriate proposals in order to develop this area.

It was reported that in the next meeting is planned to sign a memorandum of understanding and preparation of an action plan.
