On the occasion of 70th anniversary, ANAS Institute of Geography held meeting.

Meeting chaired by deputy director for scientific affairs, corresponding member of ANAS Elbrus Alizadeh provided information on scientific visit added to Action plan of anniversary by suggestion of institute director, acad. Ramiz Mammadov. The event, which is the nature of agitation-promo aims to deliver achievements of the Institute of Geography to the public, to inform on the research spheres embraced by geography and to increase interest into geography science.    

Chair of Trade Union of the institute, PhD in geography Habil Hagverdiyev stated that, two days of visit intended for midst of June will be organized over Baku-Shamakha-Ismayilli-Gabala route.

During the scientific visit, scientists will meet the groups of individual economic sectors in the local authorities.
