Effective protection of human rights in the context of “Azerbaijan 2020: vision to the future Development Concept” launched

, Turkey, international scientific conference on “Effective protection of human rights in the context of “Azerbaijan 2020: vision to the future Development Concept” launched.

, director of the above mentioned institute, professor opened the conference and said that, Article 12 of the Constitution that prepared by efforts of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and adopted by referendum, has declared ensure of human and civil rights and freedoms as a supreme goal of our state. To be celebrated its 65th anniversary on December 10, “The Universal Declaration of Human Rights”, the UN's “Millennium Declaration”, “World Summit dedicated to the protection of human rights” Final Acts forced world countries’ attention to the protection of human rights and freedoms, stated Ilham Mammadzadeh.

Making speech on the “Right of entrepreneurship for citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan” chief department of Legislation and Legal Expertise Department of the Presidential Administration, prof. Shahin Aliyev stressed out that, Azerbaijani government's work and undertaken measures to protect human rights attaches great importance in a regional scale.

Then, the chairman of Parliament's Committee on Legal Policy and State Building Ali Huseynli reported on “Role of Milli Majlis on strengthening legislative base and in the field of protection of human rights and freedoms”, the dean of the law faculty Malikshah University, Murat Shen on " Protection of Human rights and freedoms as well as social privacy”, PhD of the Constitution chair of BSU, Leyla Aliyeva on “Determination the third generation human rights in the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan “, the head of advocate for human rights (Ombudsman), PhD in law Aydin Safikhanli on “The role of the Ombudsman in protecting human rights and freedoms” etc.

Note that, within the framework of the two-day conference it is expected to establish Turkey-Azerbaijan International Bar Association, and creation of Working Group for the organization of international events.
