A meeting was held at the High Technology Park (HTP) of ANAS with Professor Khalil Kalantar, a world-famous Azerbaijani scientist working in Japan, one of the main creators of the LCD monitor. The meeting was attended by Director General of YTP, Doctor of Philosophy in Economics Vasif Abbasov, YTP residents - Director of "Science and Technology Park" LLC Zahir Nasibov, Executive Director of the Experimental-Industrial Plant (TSZ), Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry Sakhavat Rustamov and one A number of relevant persons were present.
During the meeting, Professor Khalil Kalantar was given detailed information about the main activities of the technopark and its products. It was noted that YTP, which supports the formation of innovative entrepreneurship by developing innovative technological innovations in our country, increasing innovative initiatives in society and, most importantly, the commercialization of science, produces science-intensive, competitive and innovative products in Azerbaijan, cooperates with the private sector and business networks.
Afterwards, the guest got acquainted with the territory of YTP, production areas of the residents of the technopark, and the scientist was informed in detail about the possibilities of innovative technological products. Also, the capabilities of drones produced by "Science and Technology Park" LLC, robotics produced by the new incubator resident "Tronig" LLC were visually demonstrated. Professor Khalil Kalantar also got acquainted with the process of production of engine oils based on local base oils that fully meet world standards at TSZ. In addition, he inspected the testing of gas and liquid hydrocarbons, oil and petrochemical products and toxic elements in consumer goods, as well as other experimental work at the Strategic Scientific Analytical Testing Center of ANAS. It was noted that the Center, consisting of 4 laboratories that have passed the National Accreditation and meet modern requirements, is equipped with the latest technological equipment.
The guest praised the innovative conditions created at YTP. They exchanged views on establishing cooperation in the future. It should be noted that Professor Khalil Kalantar, taking into account his great contribution to world science and scientific achievements, was recently awarded the Honorary Decree of ANAS on the occasion of March 27 - "Science Day".
