Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Academician-secretary of ANAS Department of Earth Sciences, head of Geodynamics and Seismology department of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, acad. Fakhraddin Gadirov and chief of International Relations Department of ANAS Presidium Administration PhD in geology-mineralogy Gulam Babayev left for Italy.

The purpose of the visit was research report carried out over five years as part of a cooperation agreement between Institute of Geology and Geophysics and Italian Council for National Research (CNR) and to identify the areas for future research. Moreover, based on the obtained outputs was discussed finalization of the article to be submitted to "Physics A" journal with Thomson Reuters Impact factor.

Being closely acquainted with CNR institutes and enterprises Azerbaijani scientists met with Italian experts, Luciano Telesca and Michele Lovallo.
