Choi Suk, ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Korea to Azerbaijan visited Central Scientific Library of ANAS. In advance, guest acquainted with exhibition hall, reading halls, book stores, East Literature and Rare books foundations.

After the general acquaintance with CSL the meeting proceeded at the "Round table". The director of CSL, PhD in medicine Leyla Imanova informed the guest on priority activities of the library led by her.

During the meeting, proposals have been made regarding the establishment of mutual cooperation. Speaking about the work being done to expand the external relations of the library, director of CSL noted the expediency of implementation of joint projects with South Korea.

Ambassador Choi Suk in its turn expressed satisfaction with the meeting and noted that the high level of relations between Azerbaijan and South Korea open wide prospects for cooperation between the scientific institutions of the two countries.

Also, diplomat said about the exhibition of Azerbaijani books, which will be held in the coming days in Korea in organizing the Azerbaijan-Korean Cultural Exchange Association SEBA (Seoul-Baku).

During the meeting the agreement was reached on signing a memorandum on mutual cooperation between the parties.
