Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

ANAS Scientific Council of Sheki Regional Scientific Centre held the next session on June 8.

The event was opened by director of the center, PhD in Physics and Mathematics sciences, Associate Professor Yusif Shukurlu who informed on changes and amendments to Charter of Sheki RSC.

It was decided to send a new charter for the approval to the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan Republic.

Y.Shukurlu also spoke about objectives and commitments facing academic institutions and other organizations towards the protection of intellectual property.

Further, the employee of Sheki RSC Adishirin Khalilov informed on assessment of patents and copyright certificates. Head of the Department of Historical Heritage and Ethnography Rahim Hasanov told about work carried out in Turkey and Russia and scientific conferences in which he took part.

At the event also discussed the publication of materials submitted by a leading researcher of the Department of Folklore and Handmades Ali Suleymanov.
