Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

ANAS Institute of Linguistics has published “Nakhchivan dialectological atlas of Azerbaijan language” within the execution of “State Program on use of Azerbaijan language met with modern demands in the conditions of globalization and development of linguistics in the country” endorsed by President Ilham Aliyev dated April 9, 2013. Atlas is the joint teamwork of “Dialectological atlas” group of the Department of Language history and dialectology.

Atlas covers exact and thorough data on phonetic, lexica-syntactic and morphological structure of Nakhchivan dialect. For the first time atlas gives live sound recordings in MP3 format.

Atlas provides maps of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan as well. Designers are Z. Khasiyev, K.Imamguliyeva, K.Guliyeva, G.Gambarova and M.Mammadli. Photos of informators were given at the end of “Nakhchivan dialectological atlas of Azerbaijan language”.
