Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Meeting was held at the Institute of Soil Elm and Agrochemistry with scientists of the Turkey’s Samsun Ondokuz Mayis University (OMU) Department of Soil Elm – Ridvan Kizilkaya, Tayfun Ashkin and Joshgun Gulser.

In advance, guests met with director of the institute Dr. Agrarian sciences Prof. Alovsat Guliyev. Meeting was attended by Acad. Maharram Babayev, chairman of the Trade Union of the institute, PhD in agrarian sciences Mammad Mammadov, Dr. Agrarian sciences Associate Professor Mustafa Mustafayev, Dr. Agrarian sciences Prof. Akif Gerayzadeh and others.

Meeting aimed to obtain information on the Institute of Soil Elm and Agrochemistry, its activity, held researches and to set up scientific ties. Later on, by walking the labs of the institute, guests got acquainted with material-technical base and scientists’ performances. Turkish guests visited Soil Museum of the institute and highly appraised it.

In closing, director of the institute, Prof. Alovsat Guliyev donated the book to the guests and was taken a memorable photo.
