ANAS Central Scientific Library (CSL) hosted for the humanitarian action organized by National Ophthalmology Center on behalf of Academician Zarifa Aliyeva. Clinic's mobile brigade of doctors carried out the eye examination among the employees of CSL and other organizations of ANAS.

In advance, event was organized to raise awareness in order to prevent eye diseases. Dr. Matanat Afandiyeva, associate of the Glaucoma department at National Ophthalmology Center, delivered a lecture on "Eye diseases". Today, eye diseases and problems concern the eye is widespread. During this disease eyes should not be scraped, usage of towels, pillows and eye-glasses should be over sighted. The report conducts that, using the computer for a long time leads to vision impairment on people. Meanwhile, human suffering from myopia (nearly vision) may able to see even weaker by working on the computer for a long period, she noted.

In the event, Dr. M.Afandiyeva responded questions of the audiences, and made recommendations on the rules of eye health protection.

Then was started examination action. Medical staff of National Ophthalmology Center contained from professional ophthalmologists carried out ophthalmic examination in the eyes of those who applied them in a private room equipped with modern diagnostic devices, their ability of vision, and measured intraocular pressures.
