Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Regular meeting of the Presidium of ANAS was held on July 15, 2015. Opening the event President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh informed about the issues on the agenda.

Further, Academician Akif Alizadeh gave information about the status of implementation of "State Program on the use of Azerbaijani language in the context of globalization, in accordance with the requirements of the times and the development of linguistics in the country", approved by the relevant order of the President of Azerbaijan. He informed the decision of the Presidium of ANAS in order to strengthen activities in the direction of the execution of the Order. In order to ensure the execution of Order was approved Commission and its structure. Oversight over execution of the decision has been entrusted to the vice-president of ANAS, Academician I.Habibbeyli.

Then, after discussion, it was decided on the inclusion of Academician Kamal Abdullayev to membership of the Bureau of the Department of Humanities of ANAS. Oversight over execution of the decision has been entrusted to the vice-president of ANAS, academician I.Habibbeyli.

In summary, were considered a number of issues on human resources. The decision was made regarding the adoption of Turan Rahimova as a deputy head of the Press organs division of the Department of Public Relations and Science Popularization of the Presidium of ANAS.
