Associate of U.S University of Florida, Prof. Durdana Balakishiyeva visited Shamakha Astrophysical Observatory.

Being familiar with scientific researches, telescopes and light receivers at the observatory, our fellow attended the workshop held in SAO. Her lecture on topic “Past, present and future of Dark matter search” aroused interest on attendees.

D. Balakishiyeva met with acting Director of the observatory, corresponding member of ANAS Namig Jalilov as well. Meeting discussed the issues of joint collaboration via SAO in the sphere of cosmology, to send observatory employees (especially the young staff) to the qualification in the U.S scientific centers etc.
